With one week on site — painting to finish, furniture to build, and an entire themed world to create — we were working against the clock on this Airbnb project in Kissimmee. Each room was designed to transport guests into a different Pixar universe: Cars, Ratatouille, Toy Story, and Finding Nemo each got their own fully realized space.

Toy Story is one of our all-time favorite films, so getting the chance to bring it to life for our clients and their guests was a true joy. The design had to be fun without being childish — playful and immersive while still feeling like a place adults would want to stay.

Our absolute favorite element? The monkeys-in-a-barrel chandelier. It wasn't even originally for sale. We found it, messaged the artist, and made an offer. It's a truly one-of-a-kind piece that captures the magic of the movie perfectly — and it's the first thing guests notice when they walk in.

This project is a reminder that great design doesn't always come from a catalog. Sometimes it comes from bold ideas, a tight deadline, and the willingness to message a stranger about their chandelier.
